An unexpected Bath...
Today at 7 pm I was taking Daisy for her usual evening walk. My Sis, Bernd and my nephew Daniel joined me. Well it was kinda getting later than I had initially intened to and so we tried a shortcut over some rocks to not have to walk all the way back to the bridge. Well it worked like a charm, at least in the beginning. We were already about 2/3's across when it literally goes 'Splash', Daisy looses her balance and falls into the water. She only went about to her chest in and that river is at that time of the year barely moving at all. Without even thinking I grabbed her and fished her out of the water and carried her over to the large flat rocks I just did what every good Doggy Dad does! Daisy shook the water out of her coat a couple of times and that pretty much was the end of it. Although that dog is really watershy she didn't panic or get scared. She was more suprised about what just had happened. After we had gotten to my parents place I washed her down with the garden hose to get all the slush out of her coat. Now Daisy is washed and pretty much smells like roses again. Apparently Daisy is quite adventurous these days!
