Today was pretty much a day of relaxing and chilling out and an attempt to start to get over the Jetlag. I was having some interesting and fun conversations with my sister and brother-in-law. Later I went with them and my little nephew for an afternoon walk. Was quite enjoyable actually, although it was kinda humid...at least if you have spent living the past 8 years in a desert. That's definitely going to take time getting used to that.
Later my nephew Daniel had fun playing and shoeing each and every toy off to me and repeatedly invited me to join him and play with him. I've never ever seen him that excited to see me. Was quite fun but also exhausting at the same time.
Still feels a little weird and awkward being back home and it's going to take time getting used to that. Apparently I'm way more americanized than I initially realized to.
Later that day I tried to get a hold of the Vet since there had been slight changes in Daisy's blood work. According to the voice mail if the Vet it was nothing to worry about. I just wanted to know what the deal was and what to look out for. But I couldn't get a hold of the Vet since she had been out of the office today. So I emailed Kenny to ask the Vet about the deal whith the blood work, when he's going to take Daisy to her Final Exit Exam. He said he would do that and also told me that Daisy's USDA endorsed paperwork had been delivered today. Very happy about that, as that means that Daisy's Relocation is going to progress according to plan.
