More Packing

Today I had planned to do more packing and intended to pack shipping box #4. First I had to attend to my overflowing email inbox. With all the emailing question about quotes back and forth and finalizing certain details regarding the upcoming relocation, my inbox was quite overflowing and getting quite chaotic. So today I created several sub-labels and moved quite a lot of emails into those sub-labels. That way only the current confirmation are in my inbox and that made my inbox way more manageable.
Before I could even start packing Box #4 I had to do a packing test of how much is going to fit into the suitcase. Well, that was easier said than done. Before I could do the test I had to go through Underwear and Socks and decide what's going into the suitcase and what's going into the box. I finally decided that all the underwear that isn't XL can go into the shipping box.
I finally did the first packing test of the suitcase...and of course it was a little too full for my taste. So I decided to put 9 T-Shirts less into the suitcase and that way there was enough room. I was way happier with that. The weight of the pack suitcase of was a little under 40 lbs and that's way within the weight limits of the flight. That's at least true for the 1st flight from LAX to London. The flight from London to Vienna is a flight with Austrian Airlines and knowing AUA I thought it would be a good idea to check the weight limits on that flight. I thought that should be no problem at all as I had the phone number of their call center. Well, that was a big mistake!! I hardly could believe what I was hearing...the call center only operates between 8 am an 5 pm... WTF!!! Well, I never really liked Austrian Airlines to begin with, but now I really dislike them!! The point of a call center is that you can call there 24 hours a day to get information and not that you have to call there between regular office hours...that idea is just ludicrous!!
