I met my sister, my nephew and my brother-in-law at the airport, we said our hello's and drove out to my parents. Apparently the 'gossip network' must be working with perfect efficiency...because as soon we stopped in front of my parents house several people came over to greet me and welcome me back home. It was kinda a nice gesture, but after having been up for over 24 hours the only thing I really wanted to do is to relax and chill out.
My parents had planned an 'returning back home event' with a bottle of champagne. Shortly after taste event had started my friend Sandra joined us and it was quite fun catching up with family and friends and getting to know the latest gossip. Getting up to speed on the gossip of that small town has always some entertainment value.
Around midnight the event ended and I finally got to catch some shut eye. Well that was short lived, since it felt to me like mid- to late afternoon. There's one thing that I dislike about traveling from west to east: The Jetlag!
