Goodies in the Mail...

Today I received some 'Goodies' in the mail. They didn't come as a complete surprise, after all I had ordered them and knew they were supposed to be arriving between the August 2nd and August 4th. That they arrived right on the 1nd was a very nice surprise.
Package number 1 contained the 2 travel locks for the luggage and the power converters for Europe. Now I should be able to charge all my US electronics without any issues. Very happy about that.
Package number 2 contained my new SmartPhone and having a working smartphone during the move to Europe is absolutely essential for me. Those of you who read my Blog regularly know that my BlackBerry died on me. (If you want to know more about that, check out the Blog Post: RIP BlackBerry Bold). After having done some research I decided to get the Nexus S. I wanted a SmartPhone that is pretty much in the same group as the iPhone, but that doesn't require me to have to sign a 2 year contract. The unlocked version allows me to do just that. On top of that it gives me the option to use my smartphone as mobile wifi hotspot for other devices. Since I'm now longer locked into a contract I can just change the cellphone provider by buying a new prepaid Sim Card...and that's a major plus in my book.
