Today Daisy and I had the final control appointment at the VET. That was also the time when the sutures would come out if everything had healed up fine.
We got there with about 15 minutes time to spare. But since it was a Saturday the VET was already running a little behind schedule. But I didn't mind that, since that gave Daisy time to settle in and calm down. And she is really getting good with calming down at the VET. It's nothing compared what she used to do when she was younger. Daisy also socialized with several dogs. Of course Daisy being kind of a Tomboy type of dog only socializes with the big guys. Among them where a Labrador, a German Shepherd and two Mastiff's. So she is really getting better with her socializing.
The VET took a look at Daisy and the wound had healed up very nicely and so the sutures could come out. It was a fairly quick appointment and we headed back home.
I'm very happy that it turned out that way and that there were no complications.
