Today I did take Daisy to the VET. She has some sort of bump on the inside of her right front leg. I'm not entirely sure what it is. It looks like a cyst. That can no be benign or could be something worse. The VET told me that they can't punctuate it and get a useable result from it, since it is still very tiny. And as a precautionary measure we should just take it out in a couple of weeks. I'm fine with that, and it's the better way to go. Since there is very little skin on the leg. Should it grow it needs to be taken out anyway and then Daisy would need a skin craft.
So I did set up the appoint for Daisy to have surgery in 2 weeks from now. She won't have to go under full anesthesia, she's going to get a base anesthesia just to calm her down and the rest will be done under local anesthesia. On top of that Daisy is currently slightly overweight. She's now up to 45 lbs (21.5 kg) and she should be around 40 lbs (19 kg). So I guess there won't be any scraps off the table anymore.
Will keep you guys posted on that.
Hope all goes well with Daisy.. 45lbs.. is that the heaviest she's ever been?
