Errands

Today was pretty much and day of running errands in preparation for our upcoming vacation. I needed to get a second battery and a second memory card for my video camera. I had checked earlier and it turns out that Fry's had the cheapest batteries and memory cards. Kenny joined me as I was heading out to Fry's in Burbank. We got battery and memory card. The total was about 110 bucks, but since I still had the rebate debit card form when I bought my new Blackberry, it ended up costing my only 10 bucks.

Next Kenny and I decided to have lunch at Chevy's. Lunch was absolutely delicious. Next we headed over to Ralphs in Burbank to pick up some groceries. After that we headed back but had to make a stop in Santa Clarita since we had to pick up a couple of things at Petsmart and Lowe's. At Petsmart we got a 6 foot leash for Daisy, since she will be needing it when we're visiting a couple of National Parks during our upcoming vacation.

After that we headed over to Lowe's. We picked up a glass cleaner and a container for gasoline, since our weed whacker needed to refilled. After that we headed back home. We stopped at Pepper Tree Gas Station to fill up the gasoline container.

Once we got back, Kenny continued to finish mowing down the weeds on the last remaining slope. While I took the glass cleaner and finally cleaned the inside of the windows of my truck, since a oily film was forming on the inside of the windshield. Usually that doesn't particularly bother me, but driving against the sun causes a nasty reflection on that oily film... and I really didn't want to go on a long road trip without that having been taken care of.

So we got quite a lot done today. 3 more days to go until we leave for our road trip and there's still a ton of things that need to be taken care of before we leave.
