Dentist Appointment

Today I had my final dental appointment. I supposed to have the appointment at 7 am, but they called yesterday to have it moved to 11.30 am. Well that didn't bother me as it means that I don't have to get up that early.

So Kenny and I left around 10 am. We first had to pick up Meds at AHF. Next we drove over to my dentist office what is just 1/2 a block down. We got there about 11.10 when I got a phone call from the dentists office to check if I was already close by. Kenny and I walked in, filled out the paperwork and I went into the OP. They were going to knock me out for about 1/2 hour to put the permanent crowns in. Within 2 or 3 minutes after getting the anesthesia I was completely out. The next thing I remember was the nurse talking to me. But this time the knocked me out way less that when they did the extraction and the 2 root canal... as I could recall all the conversation from the point I woke up the first time.

Next Kenny and I went to a Target near by, to pick up Kenobi's birthday present. From there we went to a comic book store, since Kenny wanted to get the latest 'The Guild' Comic Book. Next we went over to Islands in Burbank to have burger and cheddar fries. As always the Islands burger was absolutely yummy and I haven't had Islands in quite some time.

All in all I'm doing very well with the new crowns. No discomfort or anything of that kind. But the porcelain definitely feels a little different than your real teeth. And takes a little getting used to chewing on the left side again, since I have tried to avoid that as much as possible for the past 4 or 5 weeks.
