Well, today Kenny and I did some yard work. Yes, you guessed it right...more battle against the weeds. This seems to be an never ending battle. You take down a ton on weeds and 2 weeks later they're back and it seems as if they've doubled. That's the worst part of living out here in the boonies. But we have to keep on top of that, since the CA Wildfire Code requires us to do so. This year however has been particularly awkward with the weeds. It has been one wettest years in a long time and it never gets really warm. It has been all spring long on the cool side...and that lets the weeds grow like crazy. Usually by the end of May it's hot enough that the big weeds die and therefore are no longer an issue. So the only thing that we can for at this moment is warm weather.
After lunch Kenny and I watched the last 6 episodes of 'Cougar Town'. While Kenny was working on some podcast notes I was chilllin' out in front of the TV.
Later that night Kenny went to a party for one of his friends who just recently moved down from the Bay Area to LA. That gave me time to enjoy a 'Friends' mini-marathon.
All in all a quite relaxing Sunday!!
