So far it has not exactly easy for Gina to make doggie friends. On the one hand she is interested in them on the other hand she is reluctant as well. She has had some bad experiences with other dogs in the past. But at times her curiosity just takes over. And I've noticed that she gets along best with balanced and rather calm dogs. The crazy ones really drive her crazy and she doesn't want to have anything to do with them.
Today she got to make 2 new doggie friends in the neighborhood. First up was 7 year old cocker spaniel and the two socialized and played for some time while I was having a nice and interesting chat with the owner. About half through our usual walk she met a young pit bull. She hit it off right away with the young guy and the two played very nice for some time and Gina got to let out some of that energy. It was great to see her playful side with other dogs and there is real hope, that she will be able to socialize with other dogs on a regular basis.
