Since I didn't get entirely finished with the painting and due to the smell of the fresh paint, I decided it might be a good idea to move for a couple of days into the living room. This way Daisy and I would be out of the paint fumes and I wouldn't have to put everything away at night.
This was also the first time, that I spent an entire night sleeping on my living room couch. And I have to say that it really isn't that bad at all. Got a really good and restful sleep. The experience somehow reminded me of my first apartment, since the useable living space had been reduced to pretty much 300 sqf and that's about the size of my first apartment. But actually it really didn't bother me that much. Apparently my current place is set up way better and the sandy yellow of the living room actually makes for a quite cozy feeling. Not saying that I plan on reduzing my apartment size, but it doesn't feel that bad at all. Sure I'm looking forward to the time when I will have my bedroom back again. But it just shows you that the size of the aparment doesn't matter that much, as long as you have set it up in a way that works for you and it long as it makes you feel comfy and cozy.
Couch, Coutch Tabe, TV, Laptop and CowDog...that are the basics of what I call living...and Daisy didn't seem to mind the smaller living space either.
