Well, this morning there was just no other way then to go to the dentist and I so wasn't looking forward to that. I have a tooth that I had done some work one a couple of month ago and it had been slightly bothering me here and there. But nothing to major. And so I kept putting it off. But after not being able to sleep the entire night, because of a tooth ache that was almost driving me up the walls, I had to have it taken care off. So I had to call in work, that I would be coming in late.
I was the first patient at the dentist and he pretty much confirmed what I already knew, that I would need to have root canal work done. So he opened up that tooth, put the needles in the canal and could have jumped to the ceiling. No amount of anesthesia would going to work here, since that tooth was infected. So he put some medication into the root canals, put a temporary cap in that tooth and I will have to come back on Monday to continue that saga.
After that I went right back to work. The first 2 hours were so no fun as that tooth kept "working" and bothering me. But as time went on it got better and I did have a actually quite productive day at work.
There is a bright side to that. Right now I'm pain free and if I had to have that done in the States, it would have cost me boatload of cash...but here it's paid by public healthcare.
And coming Monday the Saga will continue...
