Control Appointment...

Today was the control appointment at my doctors. That was also the time when I was going to find out the results of my blood work. Considering the time I had been off the meds you would expect me to be nervous...but I really wasn't.
The blood pressure meds are working just fine and now I'm down to a BP of 130 / 85 and that's good. The rest of my blood work didn't show many surprises either. It's all pretty much where it should be. Except for the Cholesterol.
My total cholesterol is about 70 point to high. Not terrible but it has to come down. My HDL is about 5 points too low, and my LDL is about 50 points to high. And my Triglycerides are about 100 point too high. Not much of a surprise there. I now should try to get it in check without meds. And in 3 month we will be visiting that issue again.
My Blood Sugar has is continuing to do it's borderline Diabetes thing and as a precautionary measure my doctor but me on meds to get a handle on that.
My rash has been significantly improving. My CD-4 count is now down to 395, what isn't bad considering the time I have been off the meds. I would have thought that it would be way worse than that. My HIV-PCR count is up to 58.000. Not much of a surprise here either. Good thing is that I didn't develop any resistance against any of the meds currently on the market. And yes, since today I'm back on the meds again.
So all in all a very positive control appointment.
