Mom and Daisy...

Since Daisy and I are now staying permanently in Vienna I asked my Mom if she could look after Daisy at my apartment for about 1 week. Although Daisy has been on her anti-anxiety meds for 2 weeks now I wasn't quite sure if she would be able to handle the separation for 9+ hours. So my Mom showed up before I had to leave to work. Daisy was quite excited to see her. And I left for work. When I came back Daisy barked at me first and once she realized who it was she was super excited. My Mom said that it wasn't any problem and that she slept most of the day anyways. The meds make her pretty docile and quite sleepy actually. For now that's not a bad thing as it makes it easier on her. There were only a few times when she heard someone walking up the stairs and of course she went to the door and when nobody came she started to whimper a little. But other than that it went well. I'm very happy about that.
