More Relocation Prep-Work

Today I had to do some more relocation prep work. Nothing major, but the all the small things need to be done as well.
First up I had to order some of Daisy's Meds for the transition period. Heartworm is no problem, since I have enough of those. Advantix on the other hand is a different story. So I decided to order a box and have it sent to my parents. That way when Daisy gets to Austria the Advantix will already be there and I don't have to look on day 1 for VET to get a replacement for the Advantix. On top of that 1800-Pet-Meds was having sale and I was having a coupon as well. So all in all I saved 17 bucks. Not bad at all.
Next up were the moving boxes. I can't use average boxes since they have to be up to 'code', so to speak. What that means is basically that they have at least to hold a weight of 60 lbs. I looked around online and found a company selling boxes that hold up to 100 lbs at very reasonable prices. So I decided to go with them. Well turns out that the product price is reasonable, but the shipping costs are not. They wanted as much for the shipping than the product is worth. And I wasn't going to do that. After a little more research I found boxes, that are up to 'code', at Staples. I called the local Staples stores right away to check if they had them in stock. Well, they didn't have the size I needed in stock. So I decided to order them online. While I was doing that I ordered Bubble Wrap and Heavy-Duty Tape as well. If all works according to plan I should have the boxes by the end of this week.
