Today Kenny and I attended our friend Tom's 42nd Birthday Party. It was a SciFi / Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy themed party. Kenny and I didn't dress up, but we brought our towels. Everyone who has seen 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy' should get the towel reference. We got to see lots of friends, and some of them we haven't seen for a year. It was also the first event Kenny and I attended together after having split up. That could have been a little awkward... but turns out it wasn't. Only one of our friends brought the entire thing up, and I explained my main reason for it... and he did understand my reason. The entire situation is more and more like a 'Friends' episode: We're no longer a couple, but we're attending events together. We have split up, but we're still living together. On top of that we remain very good friends.
Kenny and I had a great time at Tom's 42nd Birthday Party and it was fun hanging out with our friends.
